Ululators

Founded in 1989 the group featured Paul Thurlow on guitar and Keys vocals, Stephen Hart on drums ,vocals, Jimmy Parr on Bass ,vocals,Sam Holmstock on Congas and percussion and Trombone,vocals and Rick Bauseman on Steel Pan ,Guitar, timbales and percussion ,vocals.

This band became very popular and gained recognition as one of the top performing bands in the North east of New England.There debut CD was carried by Tower records and distributed nationally and got radio play as well. They played many shows ranging from night clubs to outdoor music festivals and opened for many National acts such as Phish, The wailers, Third World, Toots and The Maytals  just to name a few. They continued on as a performing band for 5 years having gone through a few band member changes and decided to throw in the towel.

After 25 years they will reunite to do a performance at The Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs Mass on July 29th to play with drummer Stephen Harts new band also featuring Tom Major on Drums and Steve Tully on Saxophone. The Ululators will also perform a live set that evening with some of their hottest arrangements. Stephen also went on to form a top reggae band called Mojo Nectar  with Reggae guitarist Jeff Kennedy along with Scott Bricher,Rob Daalhuyzen,Annie Roarke and Tim Hochstetter releasing there debut album last year titaled Mojo Nectar
